Pinakbet or pakbet is a popular vegetable dish in the Philippines which originated in Ilocos Region,the word Pinakbet is derived from the Ilocano word Pinakbbet meaning “shrunk”…so for the viggie lovers out there, try this one out, it’s the best version of the Filipino Ratatouille. The basic vegetables used in this dish include eggplant, tomato, ginger, okra, atring beans, parda and winged beans.

“Hinubaran na manok ” is a very popular food in many part of Aklan this is quite different from any kind of foods i had tasted because it has ubad or the tender core of the banana that give it’s better taste.It’s ingredients are gata or coconut milk,native chicken, ginger ,onion and salt.
Filipinos really come up with a lot of seafoods,and one of those is the “spicy scorpion crabs”,it is cook with a lot of chili to make it more spicy and lots of crushed ginger and garlic.This is very delicious and suitable for everyone’s tastebud.
Ginataan is a Filipino cooking method that means cooked in coconut milk.“Ginataang sili” or eel is a dish where sili or eel cooked in coconut milk with the ingredients.

Carbonara is an Italian pasta dish from Rome made with egg, hard cheese, nestle cream, and pepper.
This recipe is not fixed to a specific type of hard cheese or pasta. The cheese is usually Pecorino Romano,spaghetti is the usual pasta,but fettuccine ,regatoni,linguine,or bucatini is also used.
So, here are the ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped bacon
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 packs Nestle All Purpose cream
(250ml)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup water
2 pcs. Egg
300g spaghetti, cooked al dente

“Binakoe”is one of our favorite dish in some part of Aklan most specially in the Libacao area.This “binakoe” is a native chicken marinated in pepper,onions,garlic,ginger,laurel leaves ,tanglad, and salt and being cook inside the cutted bamboo .
